I went to an emergency room on a Tues night with horrible pain in my sides they checked me in the dr saw me then in comes registration to tell me that the dr said I didn’t have an emergency so I either had to pay 400 bucks for deposit or they wouldn’t treat me I was like woa I don’t have $400 right now so I left I was way too exhausted to go to another hospital so I waited till the next day I went to another ER and they took me in asap..well to make things short, my so called “non-emergency” I ended up in ICU for 3days and 2 days in a regular room before they let me go home. I had infection in both my kidneys very low blood level to where they had to give me 4 blood transfusions & low blood pressure. Well since I was admitted to the hospital I started to wonder was that right me getting turned away it seemed to me like an emergency & to the 2nd hospital I went to! My cat plays aggressively with our kitten?

Two days ago, we brought home two new cats from the local shelter. One is 5 months old and is very large for his age( he appears full grown) and the other is 2 months old and very small. The two get along very well but when they start to play, the older one gets very rough with the younger one. It eventually comes to the point where you have to pull the older one away because he's biting and holding onto the younger ones neck or stomach. We think that the older one may have been an only kitten or been taken from his mother too soon and never learned how to play properly. I don't want to punish them for playing but Im worried that the kitten will get hurt. Both are neutered and very friendly. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem and maybe teach the cat how to play nice?

Indoor electric generator?

Does any manufacturer produce an indoor electric generator? Something that can be housed in a weatherized shed, with some intake and exhaust tubing routed outside the building? I am just trying to envision something to protect a generator from the elements and theft, while also reducing noise by having it enclosed.

Question about an 800A load and how many 1/0 cables required?

I am having a brain dead day today and just cannot agree with myself on what sort of cable system I will need for this pump. The maximum draw for the pump is ~800A and it is powered by a 480VAC 3-phase source. Voltage drop is negligible because we are talking 20feet max. Considering the equipment we have on hand, 1/0 cable would be preferred because of the cost savings. I have a guy telling me that four 1/0cables per phase (in conduit) will have the ampacity to accomplish this. I know that the NEC requires the ampacity to be derated to 80% of its value with four conductors in one conduit so I am thinking more along the lines of biting the bullet and using three 350MCM conductors per phase. Can anyone bring some fresh eyes to this and let me know if I am thinking correctly? Thanks!

How much money will I have made in my 4 years active duty in the Air Force?

i'm leaving for BMT in February for the Air Force. I'm going enlisted and signed up for four years and Ive been trying to figure out about how much I'd be making. I have 22 college credits under my belt, so I've been told I can go in as an E2, opposed to an E1. If I were to not spend a penny from when I go into the Air Force to the end of my 4 year contract, about how much will I have made (this after they take out for taxes and uming I don't get into any trouble while I'm in there, hopefully becoming an E4 toward the end of the 4 years) I've looked at the military pay chart, but want someone with experience because I don't exactly know how I will go up in rank since I'm going in as an E2. Also is it possible for me to become an E5 in 4 years? If so, how likely? Any info greatly appreciated.

i just think its funny how in America socialism has such negative connotations in politics. I also think its funny how when it comes to education we are socialists. all these programs to help kids who flunk, and the funniest part is that if too many fail in a school fail, the school is blamed and often loses funding. Really... dont parents have much more effect on school grades. I know plenty of lazy kids with lenient parents who get bad grades and school programs dont help them. When parents are strict with grades, the grades are significantly higher. i think politicians support this socialism in school, because they dont have the guts to say "all you people whining about your kids; if they have normal IQs its theirs and your fault they are failing" because they will lose votes

What happens when you break your own restraining order?

Our neighbors constantly fight and scream and break things.. A while ago she moved out.. HE then started buying a lot of stuff (Playstation 3, HUGE big screen tv.. expansive stuff) On THanksgiving, we noticed she was over here and they kept screaming and sounded like stuff was being thrown.. My bf went down there and asked if they needed us to call the cops (they've been called before by other people and they've been in trouble for domestic disturbance).. they said no, and the guy was complaining she just broke his brand new tv.. was completely drunk.. and not supposed to be there.. Later she left, completely tanked.. The police came the other day looking for him, but he wasn't home.. Turns out he filed charges against her for breaking his tv, and she turns around and files a restraining order on him... so they were looking for him to get him the paperwork. BUT last couple of nights, she's been back here. We haven't heard screaming or anything, but she's off the lease, not supposed to be here, and supposedly has a restraining order against him. What happens when you break your own restraining order, if anything??

Chinchillas are allot of money and work. Gerbils smell. Iguanas get BIG. A gecko is a good choice because it is fairly low maintenance, but they are not that fond of being handled and you have to clean their cage allot. Snakes are great if you don't mind feeding the live/dead fuzzies. Also, you don't have to clean their cage that often and sometimes the actually like being handled. Good luck!

It should fill out as she gains weight. We had a horse like that for a while. If you want to keep her tail clean, put it in a tail bag. It's going to take a long time for the area to fill back in. So if flies aren't bad in your area and she can do without long hair on her tail, cut her tail hairs really short. It's not good to keep the tail wrapped for as long as she's going to be peeing and pooping weird. As for the holes, try stuffing cotton in there, although I have no idea how you're going to be able to secure them in there. If you do figure that part out, though, you'd have to change them out every day. You could even get a piece of plastic wrap and tape it to her, and let a flap hang over her , to protect it from any poop coming that direction and perhaps even redirect her pee. If you're going to tape things to her, I would clip her there first, although there isn't much hair in horses' nether-regions. Use surgical tape.

I Have a question about my male cat....?

He is 7 years old, fixed, a bit over weight, he weighs 12lbs. He is on Purina Natural life with cranberry because he has issues with crystals in his ureter. Had to take him to the vet twice. He has been doing fine. However for the past 2 nights, he has been meowing alot and wants outside. ok, let me back up here a bit. Also, a few nights ago, before all this happened their was 2 or 3 cats arguing or breeding outside my daughters bedroom window. The night after they were fighting, my male cat started meowing and wanting outside. Also, a few days ago I had smelled what smelled like male cat spray in my bathroom. (next to my daughters room, but the bathroom door stays closed, I have a 5 months old puppy.) Now, my male cat sleeps in my daughters room, meowing on his way in their. He has never done that. I also watched him use the litter box, and it looked like he just sat their, and nothing was in the box, unless litter takes awhile to absorb. But, I did change it today, and their was alot of pee and poop in it. (I have 2 cats). Also, my cat is not going to the litter box alot, (like he did when he had a uti and the blockages. He would be in their every 3 minutes. He is also occasionally going into my room then to my daughters room to sleep. Im confused, and worried about him. Is he just doing this because the other outside cats? Or could he have another problem. He eats and drinks and plays and cuddles. Any ideas? I also thought I had a cat under my apartment duplex, their is a crawspace that they can get into that isint blocked, which explains the spray smell in the bathroom.

Physical Therapy before ACL surgery?

I tore my ACL almost three weeks ago playing soccer. I am an 18 year old freshman at college and this injury couldn't have come at a worse time as I am an anxious to have the surgery and get back to leading a normal life. After reviewing the results of my MRI the doctor noted that I have bone bruising which requires that I have 4-6 weeks of physical therapy prior to surgery. Is this normal? or should I get a second opinion? I am hoping to ultimately have the surgery within 2 or 3 weeks.

I burned my truck. Is this really not legal?

Well, after I tore up my transmission last weekend me and my friends decided to pull out the bad one ourselves to save money. We worked dang near all day and finally got it out but managed to drop it right on Sonnys foot trying to put it in the dumpster. Now hes all mad cause the emergency room said its broke and he will miss three weeks work. Do you know they want about $650.00 dollars for a junk yard transmission? We pulled the gas tank out then towed it over to a dirt pit off the highway, tossed about three gallons of gas on her then I threw a road flare on the roof. well to put this in simple and quick terms we are tall because of our genes and the nutrition we eat. well a boy is tall because of his mother and his father was short. the next son they have is medium. why because of his genes. see there height differs because of the number of cells they have to their length. to sum this i up we are tall because we have more cells deticated to our length then a person with short limbs. it is the opposite for short. the dna in the cells tell when to divide thus adding to their length or height as most people call it. all the cells in our body have genes to divide and grow. hair cells skin cells bone cells and brain cells. all the different cells in our body is responsible for height not just one or one specific gene why because we have so many different cells in our body. well this would prove my theory by showing how our brain heart and feet are bigger than a new born baby we have more cells. also to another thing to prove is hair, a person with long hair has more cells than a person with short hair. the long haired person has more cells thats why its longer than short hair. i think this is right but if their are any experts out there please evaluate my theory on how our height differs in society. please respond respectfully. warmest reguards steven.

I have been the other woman before and to be honest it is hard for your alternate lives not to cross. Women are emotional creatures and will want more of you than you can give. Me and my girlfriend met for the first time in a high school art cl. We started dating about two weeks later and have fallen in love since then. i have started putting money back for a ring. My art teacher became a best friend over the 4 years i was in high school and i also very good friends with one of the janitors that works there. 34 weeks pregnant, really bad pains?

Ill be 34 weeks pregnant on friday. Today I have had the most sharpest pains in my sides and around my ribs. My baby is breech and will not stop pushing its head out, It feels like if it pushes against my stomach any harder it will pop through. I dont know of these pains are because its breech, Ive had braxton hicks contractions before but they didnt feel like this. Could they be braxton hicks? or just the way the baby is positioned? Lat mothers day I met a guy and he was really nice, we were friends for a while and we suddenly ended our frienship. This christmas we hung out again and just recently when I went home I spent the nigh with mhim at a hotel. We didn't have any ual interrcourse. All of a sudden I have started to feel guilty. I have told my boyfriend about it and he told me about some of his friends and about a girl that he let dance on him at a friend house. However what I did, i feel was extreme! This is my 2nd time feeling like this. I have ben to the hospital because of a panic attack/anxiety attack. The doctors told me that I have acid reflux so maybe that's the cause of some of the shortness of breath I've been having. I had a therapy appointment yesterday. I just hate feeling guility and like I've hurt someone. I feel like I'm dieing. I have cancelled my spring break trip because I feel so bad! Can someone help me! Any ideas, suggestions, or tips on writing a cookbook?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of writing a cookbook.. my reasoning.. If they can do it, why can't I? Even if I fail, at least I tried. So the opinion of culinary majors, teachers, or hopefully even publishers or cookbook authors is greatly appreciated.. even if you have to lie lol. I have about 30 original recipes, and can add plenty of more modified and tweaked recipes from basic to complex. I want to focus heavily on teaching cooking fundamentals, ingredients synopsis, and cultural food history, along with recipes that gradually increase in difficulty but still categorized and organized (I think that will help set me apart a little more than just an old cookbook that sits on top of the fridge). So basically my questions are of the type concerning making a successful cookbook.. What's a solid amount of recipes to have, should I market to a specific age group or just go broad and general, what are the first steps to getting published once it's complete, how long is the process( I can have it ready for submission in a month), Should I hire somebody for photos, or should I use my personal digital camera, How much can I expect to shell out to get my book published, and everything and anything related to writing a cookbook. What do you think of this story prologue?

As a prologue it is rather long. As a piece of writing it is rather good and I would like to read more to find out what is actually happening. It sounds as though someone is dying although at one point I thought maybe it was someone being born. "A flame of hope bursts through my veins." should that read "flood through" or "rush into" bursting through indicated some sort of injury. It would be helpful to have the prologue give some idea of the story rather than just a descriptive piece of the story. However you can certainly write and a prologue is easier to edit than an entire novel. Good luck with it.

Need some advice my puppy is sick?

I got my bf a mini dachshund for xmas. He has been doing great until today. He is 10 weeks old and is current on shots and everything. Well I am going to disagree with your fiancee on this one as an owner of Arabian horses our horses are "broke" in bosals and don't even go in a bit until they are five or six. They show all the way to Nationals most of our Junior Western Pleasure horses in bosals. These horses are showing at the big time on the lightest of rein pressure, under lights, music and crowd cheering, they seem pretty "dead broke" to me. My motto is always use what is most comfortable for the horse. Your horse obviously went better without a bit so kudos to you for figuring out that. Obviously there is still some problem with his mouth either real or residual from his previous incident but using a bit seems to make him more uh whats the word unbroke??? They make a bitless bridle now, most people don't even know there isn't a bit there so you might try that.

Nasty bug giving stomach cramps?

A heating pad will ease the cramps, but do not let him sleep with it on as they can burn the skin. A towel soaked in hot water and sealed in a zip type bag would work to fall asleep with. I do not think a 10 year old should be having cramps like this for so long, and if he was mine, I would take him to a doctor's office that sees children if possible to see what is going on.

I grew up never knowing my real father, he died before i was born. my step father who i can call my dad stepped up to raise me and take care of my mother before i was born as well. he taught me to walk or talk one of those lol and introduced me to video games at age 2 or 3. he saved my moms life because she fell into depression. my parents always got me everything i wanted to try and bring out creativity in me, but i took it for granted. they were there for me when i fell into drugs. i grew up to clical opera in the womb and clic rock outside of it. i looked at things form a different perspective my life was mostly influenced from technology. ive had a computer in my room since, wow 7 or maybe 8. i never had "the talk" or many others so ive had to find lots of things out for myself or when it was to late i would get a talk. i know alot about the world and love to debate with my dad. he really shaped me into a good person projecting humor,art and carrying myself well. my mother smothered me with love to the point where im distant for some reason. my parents fought ALOT and i would sit in my room and listen and now ive grown up to be a very violent and angry person and love to hear people fight. ive gone through depression wich comes form my mothers side when i was a little younger. the past year alot of fighting has been going on. my mother loved to use "i wish i had another child" against me. my dad says i treat him like crap now and said he thinks he made a mistake staying here with me to raise me. but thats all in the past and i think everyone has gotten along better. not rally much of a childhood im still only 14 lol and theres plenty more i leaving out

I have the same problem, and have been faced with similar situations. Go to the party, even if the machine doesn't work. You can't let something like sweaty hands interfere with your life. While it may be incredibly embarring, I suggest telling the boy from the start that you have really sweaty hands. Although he may give you (in fact he probably will give you) a funny look, be prepared. If you can learn to live with it, others won't have a problem with it. I've found that even some of my closest friends make fun of my sweaty hands, but I just laugh with them. Be confident, don't worry, and just have fun at the party! Girls, help, I totally got kissed by a guy?

Girls, I never really saw myself as gay. But I was at a party last night, and found myself in a room with another guy. We started talking, mostly sports, but he kept getting closer to me. I just took it that he was a close talker and casually backed up. Next thing I knew, my back was against the wall, and he was right in front of me. I kept thinking I need to go, but I couldn't move. Then he said I have pretty eyes. I said thaks, but I am straight. He said cool, then put his hand against the wall just over my shoulder. He said I really have beautiful eyes. I again said thanks, but you do know I am.... before I could say the word straight, he kissed me. It was a cute little erfly kiss. real quick, soft, but hard enough that my head was pressed against the wall. Then he just looked in my eyes. I didn't know what to do. I knew I had to get away, but I couldn't move. Then he leaned in and totally kissed me. I remember thinking OMG, I am being kissed by a guy. But all I could do is stand there and let him kiss me. I just remember standing there, as a guy totally had me up against the wall and was totally kissing me, and after what seemed to be forever, I was standing there with my eyes closed, lips slightly parted waiting for his kiss and it didn't come. I opened my eyes, and he was looking at me like he was in total control, and I totally felt submissive, but at the same time, I totally wanted him to kiss me again. He did kiss me again, and as I let him kiss me, Meghan walked in and totally saw everything. I was totally mortified that I got caught making out with a guy, I didn't know what was going happen when I left the room. When I did leave the room, all the girls pulled me into the kitchen and started asking me all about the kiss. When I told them about the erfly kiss, one of the girls said the loved it when guys do that, the rest of the girls agreed. Then when I told them about how he was totally kissing me, and then how I felt for that second waiting for the kiss then opening my eyes and seeing him looking at me and how i felt when I looked in his eyes, and how all I could think of is him kissing me again, OMG. That is when Lisa said OMG, you are such a girl. And the other girls were saying that it is sooo cool that we can be totally girlfirends and stuff. But OMG, should I just go with it and be one of the girls, it does seem fun :)
