My 5 year old girl will not take any medication orally(never did) with a fuss so I tried fever reducing?

suppositories I also get her temp from her rectum it does not bother her. Do you think she is too old for that? Do you find it gross? Me personally what ever works and believe it or not the supp work very fast. Do you think eventually she will take medicine orally? I am not worried that I will have to do this for years to come. Thanks
