I was given a wardrobe (for storing clothes). I would like to convert it to a kitchen pantry. Any suggestions?

I would like to paint the wardrobe to make it look more "kitcheny". And install shelving. The wardrobe has two full doors. I would like to dress it up a bit. Help! Is this idea possible?
