Any one think its funny how...?

i just think its funny how in America socialism has such negative connotations in politics. I also think its funny how when it comes to education we are socialists. all these programs to help kids who flunk, and the funniest part is that if too many fail in a school fail, the school is blamed and often loses funding. Really... dont parents have much more effect on school grades. I know plenty of lazy kids with lenient parents who get bad grades and school programs dont help them. When parents are strict with grades, the grades are significantly higher. i think politicians support this socialism in school, because they dont have the guts to say "all you people whining about your kids; if they have normal IQs its theirs and your fault they are failing" because they will lose votes
