To intellectually honest Republicans from a respectful Democrat?

The USA taxpayers have bailed out Bears and Stearns, Fannie May and Freddie Mac, Private Mortgage lenders, the Airline and now the American (Ford, Chrysler, GM) Auto Industry is requesting an additional $50 billion dollar low interest loans to retool manufacturing facilities or they will collapse. It is reported they will get it before the Presidential election. Florida wants government sponsored catastrophe insurance per Republican Governor Crist. Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, Secretary of Treasury Henry Paulson and the Bush Administration have been the trigger for bigger government. In the last 8 years Republican controlled House and Senate have not made abortion illegal with a notoriously conservative President and Vice President. What reform are you talking about? It seems the Republican Party has had the political advantage to have the decisive votes. Look at the shape the country is in. What could we expect with a newly elected McCain/Palin? What does their campaign say about these issues?
