How can I edit my Yahoo mail page so that it doesnt open so far down the page?

When I want to read the message boards, the message is way at the bottom of the page. All above the message seems like a lot of wasted space. Besides I have to keep scrolling up every time I want to read a message. That doesnt seem right to me. Is there an adjustment for this? TKS
