Do men think it is cute when girls spell things wrong on yahoo answers?

I guess they replace words like what with "wot" because they think it's cool. I don't think they planned to sound cute. Take France for example. They replace "la fin de semaine" with "weekend" and "le stationnement" with "shopping". And when I ask them why, they just reply "because it's cool" or "because it's shorter". However, Canadian French still preserve all the right terms in French. My point is, English is not the only language experiencing change. Language is evolving all around the world. That's what we're currently studying in Linguistics. I guess the only thing we can do(if on our own) is to preserve English in our own daily usage. Like some of you have answered "I try to ignore" ;)
